This is a fangy one: skilled French producer Nasdrowie makes his debut on the interesting Rennes-based label Vives with a blood-thirsty EP. Coming soon on digital and cassette formats, “Hardlines” presents its fierceness through seven dark-as-hell cuts divided into four well-constructed originals and three sharp remixes made with cruelty by The Undertaker's Tapes, Nemmett, and Termination_800.

Inspired by his Metal and Industrial Techno influences, Nasdrowie is a one-man operation whose sonority is mainly driven by rough and powerful basslines, a dark atmosphere, and disturbing sounds. His previous works can be found on Mosaique, Nu Body, and iM Electronica.

Premiered here, “Hard Boiled” sticks to the formula and delivers exactly what is expected: highly danceable darkness with a touch of lust and pinches of sexiness. Not one intended to make appearances in the open-air season, though. This beast needs gloomy and filthy basement dance floors.
