Dominion was written in response to the intolerance I was seeing online towards those making dangerous journeys from oppressive regimes and war zones to try and make a better, safer life, and also to the reasons behind the Black Lives Matter movement. Much of this intolerance was from long-term friends who had been open to the same cultural information as myself, hence the line 'how can we make the same journey, just to reach a different end?'

Psalm 91 - Long Life

He who dwells in the shelther of the Most High
Find rest in the shadow of the Almighty
I will say of the Lord He is my Refuge
My God and my Shield in whom I trust
Surely He will save you from the fowlers snare
And from the deadly pestilence as well
He will cover over you with His feathers
There under His wings you will find peace
His faithfulness will be your shield
Do not fear the terror of the nightime,
Nor the arrow that flies by day.
Nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Nor the plague that destroys at midday
A thousand may fall at your side,
Ten thousand right there at your right hand
But it will not come near you. You will only see,
