The goal of this collection was to showcase some of the many talented artists who have taken part in the series thus far, and we’re thrilled with the results! Some truly magical tracks here, many of them exclusive to this collection. We’ve also linked you to their mixes for a bit of a refresher. You’ll notice a few name changes; DVAS is now known as Jex Opolis. Ajello have disbanded and DJ Rocca remains. And while we got a mix from Runaway, our edit below is from Jacques Renault. It should also be pointed out we have 3 incredible original tracks in the package from Jokers of the Scene, Earl Grey and Avenue – all of which were included on the White Light 100 Mix. Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to unveil Golden Flight EP, a dynamic new release featuring a collaboration between Nicolas Viana and Federico Monachesi. The EP includes two original tracks, Golden Flight and Coral, bringing together the unique styles and strengths of each artist to deliver a compelling progressive house experience.

Nicolas Viana, from Argentina, has been steadily building his reputation in the progressive and melodic house scene with releases on respected labels and support from leading DJs worldwide. He previously appeared on Plaisirs Sonores Records with Endgame, a standout collaboration with Anonimat. Known for lush melodies, emotive atmospheres, and impeccable production skills, Nicolas continues to craft music that resonates both on the dancefloor and in personal listening.

Federico Monachesi, hailing from Italy, makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records with this release. Federico has developed a signature sound that blends organic textures, deep grooves, and emotive chord progressions. With a growing presence in the international electronic music scene, he brings a refined sense of musicality and energy to this collaboration.

The EP opens with the title track, Golden Flight, an uplifting, melody-driven journey with hypnotic rhythms perfect for sunset & sunrise moments. Coral offers a deeper, more intricate exploration, demonstrating the artists versatility while maintaining a strong groove for the dancefloor.

You know the words to their songs every time you hear them played, so much that you might even feel like you know them or have glimpsed into their closets.

PillowTalk is more than a whispered chat before bed but is that groovy, soulful, electronic music band who have been gifting you songs from the heart since 2011. Born that summer in the Lower Haight District of San Francisco by original members Sammy Doyle, Michael Tello and Ryan Williams, and recently joined full time by longtime friend and collaborator Shane Duryea, their music fuses the sounds of classic R&B, boogie and disco with underground house and indie dance. 
						
These gentlemen are known for their hard work in the studio with releases out on Crew Love, Visionquest, Life & Death, Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company, Kompakt, Bang The Box, D-Edge, and remixes for Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, DJ Tennis, HVOB, Laid Back, Soul Clap, W+L, Nick Monaco, Frivolous, Midnight Magic, Future Generations, Set Mo and Lonely Boy. With non-stop touring around the world, PillowTalk never ceases to surprise their listeners with classic edits and collaborations with artists such as: Ruede Hagelstein, DJ Tennis, Thugfucker, Deniz Kurtel, Tone Of Arc and Navid Izadi, just to name a few. 

2017 shined its bright light on their release, Black Paradise on Crew Love Records with the Italian duo, LowHeads. They also generated some eclectic, soulful, deep and acid remixes for Nick Monaco, B. Bravo and 2 Block Radius. 2018 is shaped up to be a huge year for the band with the launch of their own imprint, PillowTalk Music. The boys kicked things off with the first release, Hold Me Down, in December of 2017 and have another all original release, Been A Long Time, in February, before releasing All People, the follow up to the classic 2014 album Je Ne Sais Quoi, just in time for summer. About to kick off another worldwide tour in 2019, these boys are at it non-stop. 

The first PillowTalk album is the second highest selling album in Wolf + Lamb history next to Nicolas Jarr and their entire catalogue is constantly heard and found on all online streaming services worldwide. 

PillowTalk’s music is as much a soundtrack to long nights as it is to lazy days —there is something about each of their records that covers the span of living: sun-splashed jams, peak-time party tunes and low-lit moments of intimacy. This is music to suit all times, and that is what PillowTalk is all about. These artists realize that some of your deepest secrets are revealed whilst pillow talking and feel lucky enough to listen in.
