This new LP sees the band evolve again, introducing new members Hannah Noelle (background vocals), Tate Masimore (guitar/bass), Collin Brown (keys/ synths), and the ever-magnetic Greg Paulus (trumpet). The sound? Think jackin’ gospel house meets urban funk, electronica, indie rock, and future R&B — a full-bodied musical experience that lives up to the album’s name.

Rooted in passion and fearless experimentation, PillowTalk refuses to be boxed in. Their motto, “D.A.G.” (Destroy All Genres), borrowed from a legendary underground SF DJ, says it all. With sonic influences as wide-ranging as the Talking Heads, The Police, Kraftwerk, Sam Cooke, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Heard, and Theo Parrish, their music is always surprising, always emotive, always real.

From the studio to the stage, they’ve put in the work, with releases on Bar 25 Music, Crew Love, Visionquest, Life & Death, Dirtybird, Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company, Kompakt, and D-Edge, along with remixes for icons like Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, HVOB, Soul Clap, and more.
