Hear is a clip from the latest Drum and Bass offerings of up and coming Dj/Producer Danny Rich from London.
This Track is well crafted and samples the late Alan Watts with his famous speach - What would you do if money were no object..
Danny was so inspired by this that he has even contacted Alan Watts son for sample clearance which was granted, and a percentage of the track will go towards Alan Watts Family as a mark of respect.
You wont be disapointed with this hard driven Drum and Bass track that offers a different spin on dannys usual style but still keeping those synth stabs in all the right places .

The 24th instalment of the Secret Soundcloud series takes us on another musical journey through the depth and diversity of the genre we simply call DNB.  Kicking off with some cracking syncopated vocal bootlegs the mix soon drops into a more summery vibe with some liquid rollers.  Watch out for the last third where we drop into some snarlish grimies before finishing on a beautiful thoughtful acapela from Neil Swayz featuring the considerable vocal talents of Lady Emz. Citate Forms Podcast #7 – Mixed By Secret Soundcloud

Dj Pi has been developing his appreciation for drum and bass and his mixing skills for getting on for 20 years now.  First getting inspired by the seminal "intelligent" albums of Bukem's Logical Progression and Earth series, while also engaging with the deeper darker sounds of Timeless and New Forms.  While at university Pi was lucky to support some of the biggest names on the scene at events of all sizes including Fabio, Randall, Doc Scott, Commix, Hype, Marcus Intalex. 

Having become slightly jaded by the commercialisation of DnB, Pi decided to embark on a new project to seek out and showcase unreleased and emerging producers, primarily through the Soundcloud platform.  This project "Secret Soundcloud" features 12 - 15 tracks in a quick-fire 30 minute mix aimed at promoting some of the immense wealth of diverse undiscovered talent that is out there, but struggling to be heard (www.soundcloud.com/pimasterswift) .  Now in its 30th Volume the project has built a following and, thanks to his long-term friend and Dj compatriot Jimmy Dark, the format has been translated to a monthly internet radio show on Bassport FM (www.bassport.fm) called "The Platform Project" and co-hosted by Nicky Havey. www.mixcloud.com/ThePlatform 

Pi has been following Fat Badger for a while now, so was delighted to be invited to provide a guest mix for the podcast.  A slight departure from the usual format, this mix brings a combination of unreleased material from lesser know artists and more familiar tracks from the likes of Calibre, Klute and Nu:Tone.

With his 1st EP on Acroplane, Stazma the Junglechrist kicks the doors clean off with his Acid Bleed EP, a fine example of sonic combat.

This EP is not for the faint-hearted as it tears out the very soul of classic sounds of the Roland TR909 & TB303 and augments it to within an inch of its life. Sonically distressing and exquisitely mixed.

Blasts in with the blood thirsty rhythms of "Infected Brain Cell", followed by the force-full and holistic melodies of "Your Computer is Under Arrest" and " Eyes Bleed Acid", plus his well received acid-laced remix of Balkanksy & Loopstepwalker's "8.9" - all topped off by groundbreaking remixes by Electromeca and 2methylBulbe1ol.

The Acid Bleed EP is not to be missed by those looking for the edgy outer limits of acid techno and Industrial.

Biog:
Dj Pi is the brain behind the driving wheel at the front of the Secret Soundcloud bus - he has been mixing beats for over 15 years. Rooted firmly in breaks and drum&bass but always open to spice things up with a little variety.

Finalist in the Movement / Vestax DJ competition two years running, the diversity of his style has attracted recognition in DJ Magazine.

Having supported many of the big names in DnB (Fabio, Randall, Doc Scott, Commix, Hype, Marcus Intalex to name but a few) - he has developed a sensitivity to the mood and energy of a crowd and the skills to build a set, rather than just plonk one record on after another.
