'Citizens Of Vice' is a new label that is not trying to take itself to seriously. For it's debut release it kicks off with a sampler that bookends it's musical demographic. Disco, House and Balearic vibes with a nod to the heady days that have inspired the labels creation.

'In Flagranti' kick things off with a rugged modern Disco affair. This is followed by our very own ode to the infamous Ibizan venue `Pikes'. Somethin' Sanctified follow with a piano heavy roller that will have hands in the air a plenty. Plastic Fantastic then slow things down with some seriously mellow vibes..

This release represents what we are about as a label and showcases four acts that encompass a sound template of where we will go on future releases.

Premiere: Yarni - It Takes Time (Somethin' Sanctified Remix) [Night Noise]

Somethin' Sanctified are long time collaborators Simon Mills (One half of electronic duo Bent) and Joel Hood (International Feel). 
They met when Simon was drafted in to produce Joel's EP on Mark Barrott’s legendary ‘International Feel’ label. A year on, whilst Joel was providing vocals for Simon's solo album "Harmonic Jigsaws Vol 1" of last year, the pair discovered their mutual love for the more atmospheric side of Disco and House, and Sanctified was born.
Both have drawn heavily from nearly 20 years of playing out in a spectrum of venues, from Fabric and Renaissance through to more intimate and eclectic venues such as Pikes hotel, Ibiza. 
Their debut track "Direct Sunlight" was recently released on Citizens of Vice, whilst also providing two remixes: for Yarni - "It Takes Time" and Ivan Fabra -  "Cosmic Sunset". Their first EP is out shortly, with dates to follow.

With an impressive musical pedigree between them Somethin’ Sanctified sees the collaboration of Simon Mills who is one half of key UK electronic act Bent and Joel Hood who has released on an impressive array of labels as a solo artist.

Their debut EP Arrival Part 1 on Citizens of Vice was a huge critical success receiving a coveted 10/10 from DJ magazine. Arrivals Part 2 was just as successful drawing huge DJ support from across the globe.

2020 looks like being a busy year for the duo with a brand new EP along with a remix EP on the horizon.

We were seriously impressed with Somethin’ Sanctified so we spoke to them about the project and their plans for the year ahead.
