Got a bit more experimental with this one, if only just. I used some out of the way samples from my computer, for one. I also ended up finding an interesting sound for the percussion, and more than once, actually. I ended up exporting a previous iteration of the 2nd Drums' mix as a stem, and the mixer settings as well, so I can reuse them later. Same goes for the mixer settings that gives the BH hi-hat its sound.

I also used MAutoPitch this time around. It's the reason Shokora's "Ee" and "Ay" sound so similar to the original Senpai's (though that aspect is just coincidental). I added it for the sake of pitching up the formants of the vocals' lowest notes, so it wouldn't be quite so big of a difference, tonally. 
   I didn't do that for Roses, because I wanted to stick fairly close to the original Wario sound set like usual, but with Thorns I was already taking more liberties, sound-wise (which was kind of to reflect how the illusion of the game world is broken for the third act), and I really like how the plugin made Shokora's "Ee" and "Ay" sound, so I kept it.

Another thing that turned out well was putting another bit crush on the reverb. I made said reverb ~42% merged to give it a similar scope to how big the school grounds are in Week 6, and with the crush placed on it, there's the contrast of said reverberations sounding more synthetic and unreal.

Edit: Updated the mix. Vocals bein' tight :hang-ten: is more consistent, for one. I made another layer for the bass and actually put in some customization for its multi-band compressor. In homage to the original using a seemingly compressed but otherwise simplistic synth wave (specifically the one that's half saw half triangle), this extra layer is none other than Wario Land's notorious PCM EeEeHh bass.

Edit 3: some final touches I did the day before finally going public. I unmuted the glock's (vibraphones') supporting Hurry Up square, setting its volume to be a subtle but still emphatic 16% or so. Besides that I focused on the drums. 
The "1st snare" I did a bunch of things with but eventually returned both pieces to how they sounded about a month ago. To the "1st kick" (not the intro bass drum, mind you) I added a pitch envelope to kind of give it a more 'animated' sound like the original's. 
The "2nd" kick I fiddled with the sampler's 'pre effects' knobs, w/e they're called, to take away its more Tom-like qualities some, and implemented Ring Mod (because I realized that was the source of the drums' kind of grindy sound outside of filtering). 
I originally had ring mod on the 2nd snare as well, but it took away too much power for my liking, so like with the "1st" snare, I returned it to past settings using an older version of the FLP for reference.
