Doctor Recommended's eclectic taste in electronic music is inspired by the diverse musical influences that he's encountered throughout the years. House, electro, and drum and bass are the main styles of electronic music that you'll find him releasing, but behind the scenes he's listening to almost anything new and old, from classical to jazz, and everything in between.

His story began over a decade ago where he got a taste for the electronic culture by playing his favourite tracks as a DJ for small local parties in the central interior of British Columbia. After moving south to the Kootenay region, and experiencing fresh new electronic music like Dubstep, he shifted his focus to creating his own music and sounds.

Throughout the years since, he's been meticulously practising and perfecting his craft – learning production software, techniques, music theory, and keyboard. Decidedly a 'behind-the-scenes' guy, he thrives on being a production-only artist while always keeping a pulse on les son du jours.

Technology, society, and politics are heavy contributions to his outlook and, in turn, his music. He's sculpting out his own lane and niche by using nuances within those subjects, and if you look and listen closely, you'll see these hints everywhere in his art and persona.

Having recently made a huge move across the country to Montreal, Canada, to pursue even more technical training in sound and music, he's more poised than ever to start sending out some stimulating vibes in the near future.
