Bloody Groove & Kikis is known for their ability to create some of the most blissful & groove inspired tracks to date. What they have for us now is of no difference. In a progressive trance style, BGK uses a soft vocal effect and a seductive energy driven bassline to carry listeners to a summer's beachy paradise. 

For remix duties Perplexity has Denis Neve, Gaston Vigoo and even a stunning voiceless remix from BGK themselves. With each remix providing it's own perspective on Aquamarine. The voiceless remix boasts a progressive house vibe with airy pads, while still incorporating a slightly different take on that same seductive bassline that they had created for the original. Both Denis Neve and Gaston Vigoo took that progressive trance feeling from the original mix and just drove it home. With Denis Neve providing a little more edge and turning the original into a true anthem for the upcoming season. We are envisioning days and nights spent creating memories we could never forget! Gaston Vigoo chose to really shake things up and put his stamp on this one by adding some catchy breaks and re-purposing the vocals to give it a little more of that feeling we all search for when listening to good music.

Hailing from The Netherlands, Manu Zain contributes yet another mesmerizing release to Silk Music with "Entrainment Pt. 1." Each track is an invitation to wonder and reflect, entrancing us with delicate textures, sublime melodies, and profound atmosphere that is full of both yearning and joy.

As the first track of Manu Zain's EP, "Entrainment Pt. 1," "Stay Close" (feat. Patrick Baker) envelopes listeners and compels us to enter another world. Patrick Baker's vocals lilt upon a minimal backdrop of echoing drums and atmospheric pads, progressing through a spectrum of tones and emotions that are equal parts melancholic and consoling. "Ocean Drive" opens with harmonic synths, subdued arpeggiators and choral pads that frame the track as blissful departure from the ordinary. It's made all the more uplifting when Manu Zain seamlessly introduces a four-on-the-floor rhythm that drives the euphoric sounds to ever greater heights. "Will You Be There" sets its sights beyond the horizon as delicate bells, angelic synth layers and the organic chords of an acoustic guitar fill the listener with wonder. To conclude part one of his "Entrainment" release, Manu Zain constructs a serene environment full of texture and melody with "Berlin." Relying only on the dynamics of composition and atmosphere, the track offers a restorative intermission not only from the uplifting rhythms found elsewhere in the EP, but also between the world we know and the one that Manu Zain is revealing.

We already look forward to hearing where Manu Zain takes us in "Entrainment Pt. 2" when it releases later this year.

Five years ago, we were introduced to the music of American composer Dan Sieg, who, at the time, was producing under the banner of "Dan & Sam." There are typically only a few newcomers to our musical niche each year who completely awe us with their talent; Dan was truly one of those artists. The demo in question was "Breaking The Illusion," which we ultimately released in October 2012. It quickly became a fan favorite that year and remains one of our most beloved releases, in our label's decade-long existence.

Flashing forward to the present: we have now had the privilege of working with Dan on numerous releases. Choosing to use his given name and surname, "Dan Sieg," in recent years to showcase his eclectic, distinct, and always visionary brand of electronic music, he has now released an artist album with us ("A Sense Of Wonder"), as well as various EPs, ranging in genre from drum & bass to progressive house. It's our great privilege to showcase his wonderful musical contributions to our imprint via "Dan Sieg / Dan & Sam 01," an artist retrospective.

Dave Pineda, from Toronto, Canada, the label 
owner of Pineapple Digital, with over 30 years 
of experience in the music industry and has 
been a professional dj for over 35 years now 
and counting. Dave is one of the few DJ's in 
the world that can play almost every genre of 
dance music effortlessly from the 70's to 
EDM. A turntablist at heart. He is called the 
Master DJ, "the DJ for all DJ's". 

Dave is known for his ecclectic taste in music 
and his mixes which takes the listener to an 
emotional journey that mesmerizes and 
captivates. When he is not busy running his 
label or doing podcasts, he would 
sometimes do in gigs all over the world. 

What sets him apart from other dj's is his 
intensity and knowledge of music that keeps 
peopleglued to the dance floor and what 
makes his live sets unique is he makes 
his own bootleg versions of popular tracks.

 A true master of his craft.
