Like a rose in the dessert, malu.mujer is a woman of contrasts who likes to explore the shade between light and darkness, consideringas femeninity as an interplay between soft and hardcore. 
Her inspiration comes mainly from Bolero, concrete music, Twerk, Ambient, Psychedelic Rock, Almodovar filmography,  Traditional Folklore, Latin subculture and Noise.
malu.mujer is also part of Todavia Duras, Berlin based female and non-binary dj and performance gang promoting neo perreo as a part of women emancipation.

"This year in end of August, our acoustic band Hochzeitskapelle was invited to be part of the ‚Alien Parade Japan‘ touring through Japan. The bands were the Tenniscoats and Kama Aina (who also organized this incredible tour), Zayaendo, popo and Mitamurakandadan in different constellations. This mix is a memory of this wonderful time, with music from these bands, related bands, friends and from records, I bought on this tour…all music from the endlessly creative and inspiring Japanese indie music scene. Arigatou!"
