"Wondering over here if living on other planets would also implement the enjoyment of strolling through a jazz bar. would we  gather there, look back in nostalgic awe and sorrow of what beauty we left back on earth, bringing forward sweet memories with some spacey horn sounds and gloomy piano sessions? future moments will tell. until then please feel right at home in the interplanetary jazz lounge where time and money are just human concepts and inconsistencies.
 
I guess deeply rooted this mix was inspired by my father's taste in music back when I was still in the crib. i remember hearing spacey and loungy jazz tunes right from the getgo. those kind of sounds will stay with me for ever and constantly close circles of some sort."

This is jamaican dub from the mid 70ies to the early 80ies.
All tunes are taken from our vinyls ..
sometimes crackling like a heart-warming fire place.
The initial idea was to take one tune from each producer, but
soon we understood that this would come out to be a 3 hours mix.
So please enjoy this essential 1 hours mix 
of what we like best of the best:
stripped down rootsy dub, just killers no fillers.

ECM was founded by Manfred Eicher in Munich in 1969 and soon developed into a melting pot of interesting musical fusions. Jazz, folk, classical music, various African, Asian, South American and European sound idioms, minimalism, ambient, avant-garde and electronic music came together in the ECM cosmos. Artists such as Don Cherry, Steve Reich, Meredith Monk, the Art Ensemble of Chicago, Jon Hassell, Eberhard Weber, Carla Bley, Keith Jarrett and Arvo Pärtt have found a home there.
