Feeling life through music. I’ll never forget hearing “The Sign” at 9 years old and was like yep, that’s it. I live for deep dark house (Adrian Hour, Monkeyneck, Dusky, ) as much as the saccharine remixes (Just Kiddin’, Keljet, Riva Starr). 

Lose my shit for Sister Sledge, Naive Melody (Psychmagic remix), anything Pete Heller, WEISS, or The Magician. Also any Oliver Nelson, Oliver Heldens, or Thomas Jack remix is a guaranteed A+ 👌🏼

House, afrobeats, tropical, disco, balearic, tribal, samba… I’m now remembering my first screenname at 10yo and in the music section I put, “anything with a good beat.” Lil me hasn’t changed. If anything, only evolving to love more of the incredible sounds around us (Jorge Ben Jor, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil). One of my first CDs at 10yo was from “The Nature Store” at the mall and featured Australian didgeridoo tunes; the “wtf” looks from family and friends for YEARS didn’t phase me. I was intrigued and that’s all that mattered, and still matters.
