@dj-koolt has been pivotal to the rise of his native Uruguayan scene ever since he started spinning in the 90s. Rooted in Montevideo, he made it one of the most exciting places to hear minimalist dance music. Its spiritual home is Phonotheque, the club he co-founded a decade ago and where he lays down his forward-thinking sounds to a devoted and hardcore fan base. 

The scene Godfather goes big for us this week with a two-hour deep dive into his sound. It perfectly showcases his silky transitions and ability to tell stories on the dance floor. Acid, breaks and techno are the foundational sounds but they are embellished in signature style with plenty of spaced-out designs, a sense of gritty industrial futurism and plenty of avant-garde electronics.

A festival highlight, this rare b2b unites two of Asia's top underground selectors. Mr. Ho, Klasse Wrecks head and resident at 宀 club, delivers raw, bass-heavy energy with unpredictable twists, while Tokyo’s Wada Yosuke, a vinyl purist and founder of Cowboy Family label, crafts hypnotic, evolving narratives through intricate rhythms and shifting atmospheres. 

Together, they create a four-hour sonic journey, rich in tension, texture, and euphoric release—an experience that embodies the fearless spirit of underground sound.

For DIM325, we hand things over to Inner Lakes. Repping the underground of Northern Italy, the producer and DJ is an expert in crafting spiraling grooves that bend from deep and gritty to euphoric nostalgia, with nothing off-limits in between.

Here he draws together elements of techno, UK house and trance into 1 hour of big-system bangers and hypnotic deep-digs, including special edits from his dubplate collection as well as unreleased forthcoming material.
