Hello Friends. Here's a studio jam thing that i did over the course of a week that basically remixes the entirety of Archangel's 'The Bedroom Slant,' in a more classic Bruno Pronsato approach.
My focus was more to keep it super loose and flowing. 
Some amazing sax stuff from Peter Gordon, incredible Vocals towards the ends from my friend Randy Jones aka Caro and Yonathan Levi showing small children how to play bass throughout...
And that's my old man...RIP

Well, where do we start…. It all began on a warm Saturday in the pre-pyranese mountains at Paral.lel festival. We found our perfect chill out spot and were settling into a cold beer while our fellow campers slowly appeared from their tents to start a new day of music and connection. We happily surrendered to the beautiful surroundings and let the music carry us away… and then came MouseDown, an artist we hadn’t heard of before, but one we certainly wouldn’t forget in a hurry.

For the next three hours, mouseDown took us on a perfect, slowly evolving journey, creating a stunning, electric atmosphere that left us in a state of wonder and gratitude. Storytelling at its finest!

We immediately reached out to connect and express our appreciation, inviting mouseDown to be part of On the 5th Day’s podcast series in honour of that memory and moment in time, and to bring you a slice of the inspiration. mouseDown went onto record a very special vinyl only, 2.5 hour mix just for On the 5th Day, and here it is.

Here is an artist working absolute magic with heart, soul and humility, sweeping us music lovers off of our feet in the process! When he’s not DJ’ing, he’s producing under the alias, ABSIS... one to watch!

Piok born in Barcelona ,  made his first contact with electronic dance music in the mid 90s.
After some years playing at private parties, festivals and some of the best clubs in Catalunya , Around 2004 starts his residence at the night club La Sala del Cel (Girona) which was one of the most vanguardist and of reference into the electronic music scene  , where he shared the dj booth with names such as :
Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, The Youngsters, Agoria, Justice, Anthony Rother, Alexander Kowalski, Tocadisco, Ken Ishii, The Pinker Tones, T. Raumschmiere, Black Strobe, Kiko, Alter Ego, David Carreta, Marc Marzenit and many more..

In 2009 creates Kiara Records with his friend Isaac Fabregat. The label has emerged as one of Spain's most treasured imprints since its inception, with versatility in each of the releases and reaching the top sales on the best shops.

In the middle of 2012  has launched : Knock Knock Series another label to release  a special deep, dubby and dark techno sounds.
