The piece was composed in Ableton Live / Tracktion Waveform / Magix Music Maker for fun, but also to broaden my horizons as a non-professional musician.

This piece is an amazing story for me. A story of wonderful support, faith in me, and perseverance and overcoming my own barriers.
I am not a professional composer, but I love electronic music. I certainly made a lot of mistakes while creating this piece, and I'm sure I'll make many more.
But read the history of the creation of this piece, recall when YOU started, recall how you fought technical difficulties.
And then smile and listen to my piece.

Before that, I created pieces using "sound loops."
For my 50th birthday I received an Arturia Minifreak Stellar synthesizer.
My wife, my mother-in-law and my wife's sister - thank you very much!
I decided that I would create a piece in which I would compose everything myself and play it myself. I didn't want to use any ready-made intermediates, templates, etc.
And here came my friend, who always believed in me. Jack, thank you very much!
He asked me to create an ambient track that could be looped and used in a computer game.
I created such a track on Ableton Live Lite, but I was quite unsatisfied. Eight tracks were not enough.
I thought whether to buy a higher version of Ableton Live.
But first I opened Magix Music Maker, and laboriously transferred all the midi tracks. In fact, a better term would be "I redrew with a pencil" all the midi tracks.
However, it turned out that in Music Maker my virtual MiniFreak was crackling. I was nailed, and lost my good mood.
I found a free version of Tracktion Waveform. After another strenuous playback of midi tracks and after plugging in the VST MiniFreak V, it turned out to be SUPER!
And the wonderful work with the track, arrangement, melody changes began. I sat at the computer constantly, postponed the trip to vacation.
Almost finished, I wanted to leave myself another day for possible changes and final mastering.
Unfortunately, I updated MiniFreak VST and the next day found that some of the sound banks were not working. I was distraught and disappointed.
But the day before, I had prepared an export to a WAV file! I quickly uploaded this file to Magix Music Maker and did the mastering there.
You'll probably hear a lot of shortcomings, but I'm happy and satisfied that it worked out! This is my first fully conceived and played track!
