[PCMS048] Metro - MHC (Ibiza Mix)

In a few months we will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of Pinecone Moonshine. 2018 has much in store including the next two vinyl records which have already gone out for manufacturing. To close out 2017, we would like to share three of my own unsigned tracks in the same way as Pinecone Moonshine started a decade ago. 

The first track, “If I Had Met You First,” is a broken-beat and meandering sample collage in the style of earlier tracks like “Tomato Seeds” or “My Life as a Hairless Aardvark” from Subtle Audio. 

“It’s an Okay Thought” opens with a slow melody leading into a more distorted sound before focusing on a hectic drum break of predominantly snares. 

The third track was an attempt to make something like the Drumfunk that was being released around the mid 2000’s.

Nic TVG - She Said Thank You for Circles

Serenada na orkiestrę smyczkową w D-tonacji D-mol  nr AK 47 , znana jako Escape To Gypsy Underground Paradise (dosłownie Na rejva z plecakiem) jest jedną z najbardziej znanych kompozycji Gangbanga Amadeusa Trietiaka, napisaną na kwartet smyczkowy,choć w praktyce dzieło wykonywane jest najczęściej z digitala. Została napisana w 2017 w Bydgoszczy,  w tym samym czasie, kiedy kompozytor pracował nad Domem ze słomy wOkolicach Wiednia, premierę miał jednak pierwszego dnia roku następującego,. Nie są znane okoliczności powstania dzieła.

Part two of the remix series starts with Dave Hoax taking on the Jungle influenced Without Purpose originally by Earl Grey. The signature pads set the background as Dave turns up the distortion on the drum breaks. The sub is low and rattling and the variations and edits on the rhythm are frequent.

Shift - Song Cycles For Ritual Dance

Shift’s Juju leaps into a vibe like late 90’s dark jazz Tech Step but with large amounts of variation on the rhythm. The percussion is sharp and a rapidly evolving. Double bass and squelching synth notes trade off. This is a high energy piece.
