Meu humilde edit de "mistura de carimbó com ciranda", do Pinduca. O carimbó é um ritmo musical amazônico e também uma dança de roda de origem indígena, típica da região norte do estado do Pará (Brasil), influenciado por negros e portugueses. O nome também se aplica ao tambor utilizado nesse estilo musical, chamado de "curimbó".

My humble edit of "mistura de carimbó com ciranda", from Pinduca. Carimbó is an Amazonian musical rythm and also a dance circle with indigenous origins, typical from North Pará State region (Brazil). It is influenced by Afro-Brazilians and Portugueses . The name also applies for the drum used in this style, named "curimbó".

Heute präsentiere ich euch ein wunderbar trippiges Set von der fantastischen Dänin Ida Daugaard. Ida begeistert mich schon seit einigen Jahren mit ihrem ganz speziellen minimalistischen und doch trippig-groovig verspielten Sound.

Wie so viele Künstler hat es Ida in die Techno-Hauptstadt Berlin verschlagen. In Berlin ist Ida in fast allen Clubs regelmäßig anzutreffen --- Ihre Lieblinsclubs sind aber das Hoppetosse, Beate Uwe, Club der Visionäre und sie spielt auch liebend gerne zur Afterhour im Kater. Aber Ida hat sich schon in ganz Europa in die Herzen der Tänzer gespielt --- ob Zürich, Hamburg, Zuhause in Copenhagen, Amsterdam … Ida Daugaard ist ein gern gesehener Gast. 

Im November haben wir uns dann mal zufällig im Beate Uwe zu Beate Barfuß getroffen und haben uns gleich 2 Stunden voll verquatscht. Da hab ich sie auch gleich gefragt ob sie mal eine Podcast für mich machen will … „na klar für Elektro Uwe ist mir das eine Ehre“. Mit „Deep Thinking“ präsentiert uns Ida hier einen groovigen und doch super trippy verspielten Mix den man wunderbar in Dauerschleife hören kann. 

Liebe Ida tausend Dank für deine grenzenlose Liebe zur Musik und es ist mir eine große Ehre dich in meiner Reihe zu begrüßen. So liebe Hörer dann wünsch ich euch viel Freude mit Ida’s tiefgehenden Gedanken und noch ein schönes Weekend … tanzt eine Runde für mich mit. Euer Uwe

I won't know why, I always associated your page with cultural creativity. I have done my best to create a mix that incorporates elements of different cultures, while fitting with my own musical direction. I really enjoyed making that one more than any other; it has elements from Disco, Techno, Downtempo, Melody, Emotion, Groove, Funk, Acid, Africa, ancient India, Brazil, and it ends with my favourite production of all times (also probably the most emotional).

The term "Sklad" can be translated as "Balance", "Harmony" or "Unison". Therefore "Luč" joined with the other track from the EP named "Tmina" represents a duality in life and nature in general which all of us experience throughout our lives.
