Stop and Sequester is an album of social commentary on the crazy and surreal current state of affairs in the world.  This album contains six new songs written and performed entirely by Patrick, in addition to four songs from other artist that Patrick loves and respects.  Together they take you on a light-hearted journey through some serious topics.

The song was written by Micheal Legrand and first appeared in the 1969 movie "The Happy Ending". I arranged this for a saxophone quintet and added a counter melody which is heard throughout most of the piece. Thank you for listening please like and follow and leave me a comment.

The song, written by Jeffrey J Allison in 2022,  begins with alto sax introducing the main theme then a duet with tenor and alto introducing a second melody followed by a Big Band feel and soprano playing a third melody giving it a fun ending. I Was Someone Else

The song was written in 1962 by Antonio Carlos. This Brazilian bossa nova was a worldwide hit in the mid-1960s and won a Grammy for Record of the Year in 1965. It is believed to be the second most recorded pop song in history.
I was fortunate again to use the incredible talent of Patrick Piper to sing this classic basso nova not only in English but a very special verse in Portuguese as well. Let me know your thoughts in the comments and please like and follow. Thank you for listening.
