POV: Of an expansive mind comes an expansive world, a living world that is as mental as it is physical. The immaterial of the imagination may be expressed into the material just as the material is sensed into the mind. Feelings exist as mere evaluations of our interactions, assigned to tone and scale, and when applied to sound provide semiotic correlatives. Music therefore, can be understood as the representative assembly of emotional interactions with our world. As does time, music only exists while it is in play, and is disputed only when it is misunderstood and not assigned a construct of meaning.
