Together the artists put forward a collection of contemporary electronics that provide a wealth of complexity for the ear while shaping the sound of local music.

Devoted Pure Space listeners are joined by new producers, friends and some of our most aspired Australian producers to form this exciting release.

Club-oriented A-side opens with “It’s me bb” tailored by Alfred Czital, setting an intimate, yet vibrant tone of the compilation, followed by Jamida's melodic “Lots Of Love” infused in harmonic vocals.

Side B navigates through deeper-end density fields, suitable on or off the dance floor. Poygonia's “Akkala” encompasses tribal traditions and pulsing beats, while Andy Garvey's Euphorique is finding balance between divine pads and collapsing percussion, wrapping up the compilation.

PREMIERE: Alfred Czital - It's Me BB [Harmony Rec]

Body Promise returns to the tape format with a 12 chapter missive from the Australian underground.  With this stellar survey of corporeally-minded music, they compile some of the most interesting mutations of modern dance music. ​Smooth Sensation marks the third and final installment in the Body Promise compilation series.  
 As the reels begin to spin, ​Fia Fiell​ (One Third of Jaala) builds to a textured wash of sound that eases the listener into the varied and exhilarating world this tape compiles. The leisurely, dubbed-out atmosphere of Low Flung​ and ​Freda & Jackson​'s contributions preface the bass-heavy boisterousness that both ​HED Ardennes ​(Fishing, Body Promise) and ​Letabruthaknow ​(aka Setwun)​ ​favour. Fishing's ​The Ghan​ opts for a hypnotic approach that slowly binds the listener in its spell until they realize it's time to flip over the tape.  
 Waterhouse​ collates broken filaments of sound into a fissured mirror,  reflecting odd visions and ghostly presences. ​Lou Karsh​'s electro transmission has a spacey, introspective edge that it shares with the dissociative acid ​Andy Garvey​ has programmed for her return to the label. Both ​Lucy Cliche​ and ​DJ Yoni​ (Holy Balm) have been working at the nexus of DIY production and unruly electronics for aeons, each contributing demented dancefloor directives that are shot through with personality. We close with ​Emily Glass​’ alien oddity, a pendulum that swings from shuddering intensity to eerie ambience until the tape stops spinning.

PREMIERE : Andy Garvey - Welcome To Infinity

After taking flight towards transcendental realms earlier this year, Andy Garvey's excellent Pure Space imprint returns with its second release. As one of the key figures in Australia's underground scene, Andy Garvey isn't one to take lightly. Between hosting her regular radio show at FBI Radio, curating the Pure Space record label and pushing talent through the Nectar Agency, the Sydney-based DJ and producer is one of the most versatile contributors making waves at the moment.

Next to contributions by Point Guard, Roy Mills and PMA, we see Garvey join forces with Melbourne producer Disrute. An infinitely developing dance floor intoxicator, propelled by its ever-evolving main synth line that runs throughout the track and releases tension as Garvey's vocal kick in.

femme culture, in partnership with the UN Women UK, are back with their annual HeForShe compilation, which this year turns 3 :)

As usual - all proceeds and sales from the HeForShe Vol. 3 are donated to the United Nations Women, the global champion for gender equality.

This year, the donations from sales will go to making sure that the needs of womxn and girls are recognised and addressed in the global COVID-19 response, as domestic violence and sexual exploitation rise as a result of increased social isolation.
