For this striking 7th EP, we are lucky to have Mr. Ho back for another massive delivery. This time complete with fully versatile house music.

A1 “Burrow” storms out the gate with an acid attack. The spooky bassline, punchy drums, and acidic atmosphere makes this the complete peak time bomb. Then the EP smoothly roles into the A2, “TCB”. A loopy, repetitive drum pattern that is guaranteed to feature for many on repeat mode. For B1’s “Shoplift” Mr. Ho brings out the melody. This is a feel-good tune featuring an old school jungle-like drum pattern that makes this a great summer outdoor weapon. Finally, Mr. Ho's Klasse Wreck partner in crime Luca Locazono provides a silkier twist on “Shoplift” for a vinyl only remix.    

This EP provides a whole spectrum of tools for house heads. Groovy, melodic, banging, or loopy, Mr. Ho has got them all covered.

The second release on Lapse records welcomes UK Tech House mainstay Len Lewis, who’s extensive catalogue of club music stretches across the last few decades, along with newly appraised London based DJ and producer Mariiin. The split EP supports a four track selection of old and new head down club music touching different moods.

The B side spans a more contemporary 4x4 influenced thread of this style that circles closer to the outer rims of techno and acid. The Italian born producer joins the label with the “Snake Is Changing It’s Skin” and “Impasse” which continue fittingly to carve their signature sound, a style consistent in their early releases on the likes of BPR and EYA Records and across their DJ sets as Pleasure Club resident.

pi pi pi premiere: Mariiin - The Snake Is Changing Its Skin (LAPSE002)

Moving firmly into its fourth decade, Tresor Records launches a new 12″ series, with a new generic sleeve design, intentionally available at affordable prices as an antidote to high vinyl costs.

In April 2023, Tresor Records will unveil a new EP from DALO entitled “GUM”. DALO, aka Nadia D’Alo, is one of the founders of the R.i.O label and half of the duo INIT. After several years of performing as INIT with Benedikt Frey, she had her solo live debut in Berlin in 2022. This record follows releases on labels such as ESP Institute and Warning. “GUM” showcases DALO’s expert mastery of rising tension through analogue sound sources, as it swings in and remains with minimal changes and accentuation.

Connecting the ever-blurring dots of bass, house, and electro - still heavily influenced by his native city and the UK's blossoming subcultures.

The success of his previous work has led to support from artists like Ross From Friends, Jaguar, and Roni, while causing chaos across multiple Keep Hush sets and appearances on Radio 1, NTS & Rinse. The latter being a guest mix invite from long-standing resident Miley Serious.
