Marvin McMahon is a composer currently based in Berlin for Film and TV, Songwriter and Front man of 'River Becomes Ocean'. Marvin has had his music in shows such as ‘The Voice’, ‘Germany’s Next Top model’, ‘Law & Order’ and NBC Sport’s ‘The Woods brothers’ and has had more than 500 placements in TV and Film. Also, Marvin has composed music for national and international advertising campaigns for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Subway, Frangelico, Design Hotels, etc. and written with and for Sony Music Artists such as ‘Lukas Rieger’.
He studied music at the University of Sussex and orchestration at Berklee College of Music.
After his studies he went on to work with many of the best publishers in the world and is continuously working with Publishers such as BMG, EMI, Sony ATV, Cezame Music Agency, Hi-Finesse, Songs To Your Eyes, Atomica Music and more.

​His band ‘River Becomes Ocean’ has established to make a name in their genre, signed a record deal with Department Music and Warner Musik and released their Debut Album in January 2019. They had their Music Video in rotation on MTV and VH1, and radio plays on BBC Radio 1 which is the biggest Radio Station the UK. They played sold out shows in the UK and Germany, and toured with bands such as Silverstein, Framing Hanley, The Rogers to name a few. They also signed to Tandem Management where they share a home with some of the best bands around like August Burns Red, Silverstein etc. Recently they started working with TKO Booking Agency and share a roaster with artists such as Hawthorne Heights, Wednesday 13 and John 5.
