"This year (2021) is my 20th DJ anniversary. That means I started mixing in the spring of 2001. Back then with a mixer & 2 turntables. I bought my records from deejay de & 77 Records in Straubing.
Back then it was a bit faster & harder than you are used to from me.

For this reason, I went back to the origins for this mix series and have corresponding techno tracks from then and now for the set collected & mixed.

The whole thing is called "Back to the Roots". The name fits very well. I created number 2 for deeprhytms.com & am looking forward to the release! Hope the set goes down well?!

Lious seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Piranha Siberia Dub.

Biography: 
Tommy Köler, real name. Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records. Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He showed his brilliant DJ skills at many parties, listen to his wonderful mix. 
This time Tom recorded a special already the second mix with only tracks from amazing producer Alexander Krüger aka Dub Taylor.

Ezra Collins (@ezracollins005) presents Dream OF The Sun EP — four originals and five remixes woven into a single sonic canvas. These are images where sound becomes the language of light, the motion of heat, and the geometry of shadow and vibration. 

Original Works.
::: Tonic Dub — a warm morning fog, dense and transparent at the same time. The bass flows like dew across glass, while the echo unfolds into shimmering geometry.
::: Getting Hot — heat transmuted into frequency. Each loop is a midday pulse of the body, every note the breath of scorching air.
::: In Transit — a meditation of the road, where space contracts and expands, and movement itself becomes a self-sufficient rhythm.
::: Alienicity — a foreign landscape where the streets of the city are reflected in the eyes of an otherworldly guest, and techno becomes their universal language.
