It is amazing to think Mood Series has grown so much in such a little amount of time. This is now #90. 90! Wow! Again, thank you all for your interest in this series as it means a lot to our work and mission. Wade Watts is a South African Producer/Dj from an old Township called Evaton (South Of Johannesburg). This is his first appearance to our Mood Series. 'Shades Of Grey' is the title for this outstanding 4 track digital release. Each featured here is nicely constructed with a veteran's touch. 'Particle Dispersal' is the well-paced opener here that really perks your ears up and gets your attention. The space between all the sounds works brilliantly opening up the audio spectrum for a nice and gentle build to the second offering. 'The Sands Of Nishanti' is another spacious builder that adds a bit more tech and an electro wiggle injected into the addictive rhythm parts. We especially like the more ambient parts as they really add an anticipation and atmosphere to it all. 'Mother Of The Sun' might be our favorite of the pieces. A lovely early set or early morning track that will sure to have you smiling. Peaceful and soothing, the tempo is strictly for lovers. Those keys are to die for! 'Monolith 4000 BC' concludes things on righteous dub note with a wonderfully atmospheric ocean-brisk outro. These tracks sound like you are taking a vacation near a beautiful African peninsula or beach. Scenic, calm, easy going and gentle are words that spring to mind. We can't help but be taken by 'Shades of Grey' and we think you will also!
