Dive Craft: 
Denny Kay is one of the pioneers of the Russian and British rave scenes, an innovator with a vast discography of releases worldwide across different genres and under various aliases, the most notable of which are Dive Craft and the multi-genre project In'R'Voice (In Our Voice). Denny owns several labels: Retrigg, Obsqurion, Random Deep, Awlent Records, and co-owns the Spiralmind label. But undoubtedly, his most significant and globally renowned venture is his dub techno label, Ubertrend Records, the compilation of which Denny presents on our podcast.

"Dub Techno v.8" stands as the crown jewel in Ubertrend Records' cult compilation series, presenting a formidable collection of 15 tracks that redefine the boundaries of electronic music and also celebrating label's 80th release. Seabra Monkey:
My love for music is divers. From Classical all the way to rock ‘n roll. I am originally a drummer and switched to producing when the DAWs came largely available. When House music emerged it was love at first sight and ever since has been a big influence in my musical aspirations. My love for Dub dates back to the time I was heavily into Reggae and Dub Reggae. The legendary rhythm section Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar taught me the way in what a solid rhythm section does for any kind of music in general. Its creates freedom for all other instruments involved. This freedom became more clear when I listened to Frank Zappa. He is my inspiration, a musical genius with a free spirit in improvising. He is the reason why creating edits of the tracks I use in my mixes, became part of my normal mixing routine. For me it’s all about creating a storyline from beginning till the end. Adding my own sauce is part of that process. Although my DJing skills comes from the days I was spinning the decks with vinyl, I consider myself today a producer. I love vinyl for it superb sound, but have to admit that the digital era gave me the tools and freedom to do what I love the most and that is producing Dub Techno. I feel the DUBBISM mixtape came out well and I do hope you all will like it too. If you do, pls hit me up on my socials. Casper Rabie is a DJ/Producer that has crafted a very unique sound, with an early passion for deeper electronic music that stems from growing up in the Johannesburg underground club scene during the mid 2000’s. Being involved in the industry one way or another for the past 14 years and also having established the Slow Sessions Podcast, a deep electronic music curation of some of the best selectors and producers from South Africa and abroad, currently based in Hermanus, just outside of Cape Town, he now aims to keep pushing his love for music into the local scene and looks forward to sharing his interpretation of music. Also he is an A&R at Separate Souls Recordings. Armin Bender: 
Armin has been into techno for over 30 years. Started DJing in the 90s. He is still Hobby-DJing, mainly with Vinyl. Since the early 2000 years active in the scene in and around Erlangen / Nuremberg (Germany). Member of local non-Profit Electronic Party Collective called "STRONG SIGNALS". Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about...

angel lebailly ☆: 
French artist Angel Lebailly has been pursuing her love for all sounds deep, atmospheric and dubby over the last years.

After her first dub techno vinyl release “Sous l’eau” in 2023, Angel collaborated with German artists Deemkeyne and David Heine and made an appearance on an Anniversary VA by [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].

2024 shows upcoming collaborations with some exciting dub artists (The Open Circle, Dott. Santafeo, GUZZ) and an imminent new EP is scheduled on Nae:tek longstanding Superordinate Dub Waves in May 2024.

Recent gigs feature Tresor in Berlin with Echocord in February 2024 and London radio shows as well as a couple of upcoming podcasts.

Influenced by the broader dub techno realm, but also sounds from Detroit and contemporary ambient music, nature, travels, & meditation, and a columnist of Magnetic Magazine for the dub techno chart, Angel’s commitment to music and arts remains true to itself.

Substak: 
Kostas Staikos (aka Substak). Greek electronic music producer, was born and raised in the city of Athens. The start of his journey into music began at 2011 when decided to escape a bit from real life & started mixing and producing. His music genres include: Ambient, Dub, Dub Techno, Minimal & Minimal Techno. Over 13 years of production, Kostas has released more than 200 releases on various thematic labels.
The podcast is dedicated to a good friend, producer Shebuzzz, who died shortly before. R.I.P.

Ignacio is a Chilean musician who creates atmospheric and hypnotic dub techno music. His work is inspired by nature, space and psychedelic experiences. Its sound is characterized by deep bass, decaying chords and abstract samples. He strives to create music that immerses the listener in a state of meditation and trance. LLLIT is not only a name, but also an acronym that stands for "Love, Light, Life, Infinity, Time". This reflects his philosophy and view of the world. LLLIT is a musician who explores the boundaries of sound and consciousness.

Sleney:
Daniil Lalenkov was born on 06/16/1996 in the city of Yartsevo, Smolensk region. Acquaintance with music began when a tape recorder appeared with CDs and cassettes. From the beginning of 2020, the artist began a new stage in his musical activity. He began to study the FL Studio program in more depth, experimenting in it, began to come to his unique sound, creating a recognizable handwriting. The author's music is clearly inspired by nature. That is why his music is so atmospheric and original. In some of his compositions he uses field recordings, due to this, his compositions become more lively, atmospheric and nostalgic, evoking warm memories in the listener. At the moment, Daniil uses FL Studio to write his music and create podcasts, it is in this program that all his ideas are implemented.

Deep and dub techno producer from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. He is one of the founders of the Techenie label. The Radio Badjay project appeared in 2021. Radio Badjay is Ivan Luchkin. Ivan has been making electronic music since the early 2000s. He has dozens of released releases, many remixes and music productions created for hip-hop artists. Today, Ivan has left everything that was done previously. Today he is exclusively on the wave of Radio Badjay.

I have been interested in music since childhood; my acquaintance with electronic music began with the Drum & Bass style. As I grew older, I began to be more attracted to calm, deep music. Tommy Köler, real name. Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records. Tom began to create Mixes... OHM:
Veteran Icelandic/Danish techno producer, based in Copenhagen. DJ and producer Ohm (Bjarnar Jónsson) is one of the leading figures in the Icelandic contemporary techno scene. Widely associated with iconic labels. Ohm stays true to his roots by consistently innovating his interpretation of techno music, integrating soul and innovation with the scene.

The Copenhagen-based artist was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland, and caught the music bug early on. In 1999 his debut release, a collaboration with the Icelandic techno legend Exos, was released on Force Inc and was critically acclaimed. Since then he has been a constant source of techno anthems,
he’s been a regular guest at the legendary techno club Culture Box in Copenhagen. He has also been playing around the world in Clubs and festivals over the last 20 Years or so.

Kristian Di Vogli Costica, real name. During his youth he listened to mostly classic Hip-Hop (1997 - 2002), afterwards began to frequent the Romanian Space Club and UK Fabric. The major call for electronic music in terms of DJing and Music Production came at the age of 30, in 2012 when he first attended a DJing course followed by a Production one at Subbass Academy in London. One year later, CK won 3 DJ competitions in a row: EDC London, Movida Corona UK & Amnesia Ibiza DJ Challenge and also had his first EP released - Back from SubBass. He release music on various labels, including Tonic D Records and owns the podcast platform called DEEP MVMT.

Ilya Kazakov:
Ilya Kazakov is a talented musician, producer and DJ from Krasnoyarsk. Ilya was born in 1985 in the city of Taboshar (Republic of Tajikistan) in a family of immigrants from Krasnoyarsk.
In 1992, the family returned to Krasnoyarsk, and Ilya went to school, where he soon met one of the brightest Krasnoyarsk rappers in the future - MC Tema. In the late nineties, the guys united in a creative tandem, in which Ilya was responsible for the beats, and MC Tema wrote the lyrics. At the same time, Ilya is immersed in electronic music, he is captivated by Drum and Bass, Trance, Electroclash, Techno.
In 2003, Ilya entered the university, where he met Anton Quatro. They were united by their love for underground techno sound. At that time, the guys got acquainted with Dub and Ambient sound, which had a very strong influence on their work. Ilya writes a lot of different music, without regard to styles and trends. Constantly experimenting. He writes music the way he feels it.
