Learning under the wings of family members The Karvello Brothers, Mat quickly found himself behind the decks in Kingston's underground scene. His passion for music later directed him towards producing, and establishing his own sound. 

Over the past two years, Mat has supported acts such as Kuya x Dyad, Chris Karvello, and Toronto's Martel Bishop across local venues throughout his hometown. 

After signing his debut EP "Humanoid" (2017) with Subwoofer Records (Italy), Mat has continued his success with recent productions, as he awaits upcoming releases with Subwoofer Records and MTZ Noir (Belgium). 

Currently, Mat is working both in and out of the studio to further develop his sound, and establish himself as a professional artist.

Nyasia Chane’l is a multifaceted artist known for her prowess in the realms of singing, songwriting, and acting. Hailing from the quaint town of Fallsburg in the Catskills region of Upstate New York, Nyasia's musical journey is a fusion of influences, leading to a captivating genre she aptly dubs "Neo-Hip-Hop Soul." Drawing inspiration from iconic artists like Etta James, Mary J Blige, Ashanti, and Beyoncé, Nyasia weaves traditional soul melodies with pop and Hip-Hop elements, fashioning a unique sound that unites listeners across genres and generations.

For Nyasia Chane'l, music is a medium of storytelling, with the ability to traverse various musical landscapes. Whether it's a sultry slow jam, a mid-groove melody, a hip-hop beat, or an Afro-Latin-Caribbean fusion, Nyasia ensures that her music always carries the essence of R&B, which is Rhythm and Blues, the “Rhythm” may switch up but the “Blues” are about human narratives and tales. Nyasia’s music is the vehicle through that real human stories come to life.

Nyasia's independent music career has been marked by notable achievements. Her singles, including "Impatience," "Can’t Stop Us," and "Sticky Wicked," garnered substantial recognition, earning her airplay on radio stations both nationally and internationally. Notable stations like Power 105.1 FM and Hot 97 in New York, as well as 90.3FM and 93.9FM in DC, have been among her supporters. Her music also found a home on international airwaves, with stations such as The Edge 105.3FM (Jamaica), Hitz 92FM (Jamaica), and Suncity 104.9FM (Jamaica) embracing her unique sound.

Nyasia is celebrated not only for her hit singles but also for her EPs, "Clubhouse No. 7" and "Midsummer Dream." These bodies of work seamlessly blend contemporary R&B and Pop elements while delving into timeless narratives that dissect the intricacies of human relationships.

Beyond her musical talents, Nyasia Chane’l has also made her mark as an actress. She has appeared in various films and web series, including "Rocky Point," directed by Robert Perez and Jamie M. Woods, "Fuxk D3m Kidz," directed by Tracy Parson, "Colors," directed by Alonzo Bolden, and the web series "She Aint You," directed by Stephanie Greene.

Nyasia's stage presence is nothing short of electrifying. She had the privilege of opening for Bobby Shmurda at the 2023 SUNY Purchase Afrodesiac Homecoming Festival and has graced the stage at illustrious events like the HBO-sponsored tribute to Aretha Franklin at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem. Nyasia has also shared the stage with notable artists such as R&B sensation August Alsina, the legendary DMX, Reggae icon Richie Stephens, and veteran Blues vocalist Grand Slam Allen. Her performances have resonated with audiences at renowned venues including S.O.B.’s, Resorts Worlds Casino, the Chance Theater, and many more.
