Sweden&#8217;s influence on modern Techno can never be overrated. Over the past twenty years the ever growing band of dedicated artists emerging from the country have each played a huge part in the global growth and development of the sound. Stockholm&#8217;s Joel Mull is one of the key and original members of the country&#8217;s musical militia. Known for his dynamic and often marathon DJ sets and his impressive releases for the likes of Music Man, Cocoon, Kanzleramt and Drumcode, the DJ/Producer is steeped in Techno history. Today though he again proves his eyes, and ears, are looking firmly to future with his latest work and debut release for Nicole Moudaber&#8217;s MOOD imprint. 

The Three track Wind It Up EP again highlights Joel&#8217;s love and skill for crafting atmospheric and harmonic techno. The Waiting&#8217;s powerful kick drum is governed by its beautifully intergalactic breakdown, before Wind It Up&#8217;s marching groove is bathed in swirling synths. The EP is closed by the industrial roller Geodesi, with its ethereal guitar riff.

What better way to mark the 20th anniversary of Tronic, his forward-thinking label, than creating a new artist album? Christian Smith stands out as one of the worlds leading exponents of inventive, diverse techno and Stranger Than Paradise continues his enthralling, ever-evolving musical journey with aplomb. The fact that Tronic is one of the Top 5 selling techno labels in the world is a mark of a man who stands for nothing less than pure quality. 
Having previously released benchmark, critically acclaimed LPs Omakase (2013) and Directors Cut (2010) Christian Smith is no stranger to creating supreme, danceoor orientated albums, that explore and showcase his diverse musical style. Both as a DJ and producer, he is always innovative and bold, a leader not a follower. 
Alongside the jaw-dropping excellence of the solo tracks, this new album also features dynamic, inventive collaborations with Wehbba (Christians great friend and regular collaborator), the New York based house music legend Cevin Fisher, long-time studio collaborator John Selway (of Smith &amp; Selway fame), and Christians childhood friend and hip-hop artist Arcturus Ra. 
The Stranger Than Paradise album project will be unveiled rst as four singles released at weekly intervals through the month of October, with the full album release following in the rst week of November on 12 vinyl and digital formats. An album remix pack will be released in December.

Here we go with the very first release on our imprint. Label chief Koen Groeneveld is kicking off with a 3 track bundle that goes by the name of 'Acid Tech E.P.'. The first track 'Acid Dude' featuring JJMG (Koen's Daughter) features a deep and dark male voice plus a female voice spitting out the tune's title in the teasing and uplifting breaks of this serious piece of dance floor food that is loaded with 80's Acid sounds. 'Git On Down' is also referring to the 80's via its Chicago House style bassline and Disco-ish beats. Git on down and party that's what you gotta do when hearing this gem ! The final track 'Welcome To Studio 54' moves forward driven by an ultra dope bassline combining the early 90's feel with early 80's disco ingredients, while wearing a 2016 hipster Tech House jacket.
The package also includes a special acapella DJ tool from the main track "Acid Dude". Enjoy !
