Starting as a dj in 2010, Leo started his studies in music production after starting his career behind the decks. So, in 2012, he created the Groark project. With a mixture of forest and dark trance, with industrial influences and organic synths, trying to explore more of an abstract language.

UMAMI stems from a need to rediscover the fundamental taste, in this case in music. It’s a word that is not translated into different languages, it is international, like the artists here from all over the world. Umami is the unique flavour that encompasses them all, sweet, sour, bitter, salty that encompasses perfection... which is what one feels when listening to music with a quality research, a mix of emotions that are created, leading the listener to moments of ecstasy.  

In each track, work has been done to create an unexpected, surprising, goosebump moment. It's sounds, words, metrics, bass changes, everything needed to bring out the Umami in psytrance.
