His previous releases on the label have earned support from top-tier DJs and established him as a standout producer in the dub techno scene.

For this expansive EP package, the label has curated an impressive lineup of remix talent: UK producer Mike Bentley brings his refined musicality, Belgium's ORBIA contributes his distinctive sound design, and Polish artist Moodeep completes the trio with his emotive approach to production.

The original Lifeforms SV-1 eurorack format synthesizer module is legendary for its deep, analog sounds capable of pumping out everything from roaring bass and cutting leads to absolute chaos. The SV-1b shares this same bold, powerful core while fine tuning the details. We have made a countless number of small tweaks and adjustments to the original SV-1 synthesis engine to improve the stability and functionality of the SV-1b. The sound is what matters, and this is still the East Coast analog monster to beat.

This Is The Way To The Cake [SV-1b Soundtrack]

Interpolate recruits the enigmatic Dog Master Joe for five nu-disco, pool-side soundtracks. Drawing inspiration from Kraftwerk, surf rock and holidays in Southern France gone by, NMGJ appeals both to the club heads and the beach dwellers, undoubtedly groovy and immeasurably juicy.

London-based musician and DJ, Dog Master Joe creates bouncy and atmospheric dance music, suitable for dimly-lit nightclubs and beaches at sunset.

Born in Denmark in 1995, he has been making music since a child listening to his older brother’s music collection, and draws on inspiration from sources like Kraftwerk, John Frusciante and Air, with a house-infused twist.

DJ’ing since the age of 14 and releasing music under different monikers since 16, it wasn’t till he moved to Hull in 2015 to go to university, that he found himself part of a music scene with regular gigs and a myriad of new influences. During his time at university, Dog Master Joe boasted support sets for Ross From Friends, Hammer and Mumdance to name a few. 

This was largely due to him joining University of Hull’s electronic music society/DJ collective Crystal Clear, in which he also met friend and collaborator Nick Kearney, and label colleague Ben Daddy, whose Interpolate Records is home to his new EP ‘North Mediterranean Groove Juice’.
