In a melancholic ode to side paths, to the wanderings of the heart and mind, it is with a piano that Hirschmann reveals himself intimately, between arrhythmic pieces, poetic lyricism and sound experiments based on fieldrecordings.
The EP is structured around three tracks, composed in the countryside, at nightfall. “Le hasard de la danse”, erratic and dark at times, opens the EP and swings between a pale glimmer of hope and a dark and confused end of the evening. Anatolian Weapons explores this blurred dimension and submits there a deep and esoteric remix. Melancholy is captured and frozen. To close the path, “J’ai oublié mon nom” puts in tension a soul in pain and violent, nebulous transports on a tightrope, ready to give up. In these intimate vibrations, which he gives us straightforwardly, Hirschmann seeks somewhere to shed light on the torments of isolation and thus takes a very personal look at the uncertain future.
