Every now and again a collaboration comes along that just blows you away… and this next one to land on Toolroom does just that. Introducing Sola regulars and one of the freshest, most exciting dance music duos to come out of the UK in recent years, Maur who lock horns with chart topping US based Westend, for a label debut set to become 2023’s festival anthem - ‘Over’.

A huge coming together for both artists who have been making waves on the worldwide club circuit over the past few years, with Maur racking up some seriously impressive numbers across all DSP’s recently with ‘Deep Inside’, sitting on a cool 14m streams on Spotify and their Solardo collab ‘Power’ sitting just shy of 10m streams, whilst Westend’s outing on Armada Subjekt ‘Let Me Take You’ has hit 14m pairs of ears also. Between them they cover every corner of the Globe on the decks and this debut collab is seriously exciting! 

‘Over’ itself is a real fusion of both styles, Westend lays down the tough, skippy Tech House drums whilst Maur get creative on those searing synths creating a catchy yet memorable, spine-tingling riff that will nestle itself inside your head for the foreseeable future. Throw in newcomer Cami Bear’s stunning vocal hooks and you have a summer anthem on your hands!

On the remix duties, and gracing the label for the second time we have a man who needs no introduction - Ben Pearce. The second remix comes courtesy of the elusive Bontan, who delivers a dancefloor-ready interpretation of the track. Following on from the lead track is ‘Warm Embrace,’ which encompasses airy vocals over a strong house baseline, keeping a chilled vibe.
