DJ, selector and collector of music, since 1996. Producer and creator of audio ensembles, and tinkerer of hardware and tools, since around the same time.

And so, this page emerges to consolidate what worthy dj sets and mixes have made it through the last 30ish years of my story, as well as slowly gathering together half a life-times worth of completed music, and quietly releasing these creation online for donation, with any gained revenue going directly to local and national charities.

For over a decade, interdisciplinary artist Inventive has helped to define the underground sound of Aotearoa's bass culture. 

Renowned for their genre-melting sets, seamlessly blending digital emotion with cutting-edge sound design to create full-spectrum musical adventures.

Their sonic palette spans from dub-techno and future garage through 130-160 bass territories, flowing into liquid, jungle, neurofunk, and experimental realms.
