"Hard Reset" by Pixelh8

The creation of the new album titled "Hard Reset" is a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of Pixelh8, who utilized a myriad of vintage platforms, including the BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum, Nintendo Gameboy, Nintendo NES, and Commodore 64 to craft an authentic chiptune experience. Eschewing traditional digital audio workstations, Pixelh8 embarked on a journey of exploration, delving into the inner workings of each platform to harness its unique sonic capabilities.

By writing entirely new software or accessing the chips directly, Pixelh8 was able to coax out the raw, unadulterated essence of chiptune music. Each platform served as a canvas, with Pixelh8 meticulously programming melodies, rhythms, and textures to evoke the spirit of classic video game soundtracks, while providing something entirely new. From the warm, nostalgic tones of the Commodore 64 to the crisp, digital chirps of the Nintendo Gameboy, every chip contributed its own distinct voice to the sonic tapestry of "Hard Reset."
