Saraswati (Sanskrit: सरस्वती, Sarasvatī) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is a part of the trinity (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to create, maintain and regenerate-recycle the Universe respectively.

Saraswati was born from the mouth of creation to weave together the chaos of existence. She has four arms each carrying a reminder of how each of us may develop wisdom while traversing through the chaos and challenges in our lives.

A Veena: reminding us that everything has a rhythm and that music has the power to settle us back into our hearts

A Mala: For spiritual wisdom, or simply a wisdom that arises when we care for something larger then our individual self

The Vedas: Spiritual texts, a reminder to turn to the wisdom carriers in our life, it may be our faith, our teachers, or nature

A Bowl of Water:  Reminding us that we too can transform
