November is officially our birthday month so we're kicking off the celebrations with this mix recorded live from our 16th Birthday at Corsica Studios. It's the early hours of Sunday morning, Tim Reaper & Mantra step up at 5.30am, room 1 is heaving, Moose, Blackeye and Double O are vibing! It's raw, uncut, raggo but totally captures what the last set at Rupture is all about. We were unsure whether to put this up as it's a bit distorted in parts but we hope you bare with us and can hear past the snap crackle and pop and enjoy the beautiful sounds of 94/95 jungle played on vinyl. Nuff love!

Music to take you off to the outer reaches... Crisp studio mix from label owner PHD and MC DRS circa 1999. Perfect combination of deep atmospheric ambience and melodies, tough beats, rolling basslines and DRS's lyrical stylings driving the vibe forwards...
PHD had a cache of wicked tunes (some still sadly unreleased) that never quite had the same exposure as the rest of the GLR camp but stood tall in their own right. Some exceptional music makers feature on this mix as well as appearing across the Ascendant Grooves release catalogue. One of those mixes that has never dated and still gets regularly aired. This was recording of the set from Tim Reaper & Sully at the recent Roots Records Warehouse party we hosted on May 9th 2025.  These dudes are stellar producers / djs / humans altogether!  Was a pleasure to work for the 2nd time with Tim Reaper and meeting Sully for the first time and getting to connect with him for a few days while he stayed in town.  I think the event went off amazing and everyone had a fantastic time!  Until next time E & J!
