When I was working on this EP, nothing came to mind other than Al-Abjar hitting the ground, ridden by his horseman and lover Antarah Ibn Shaddad, dusting off the desert to make his way to his impossible love, Abla.
Al-Abjar is one of the most famous and original Arabian mare, dating back more than seven thousand years ago, and has preserved the purity of its creation and its refined qualities.

"اطلّعوا"هي تجربة حسّيّة سَمَعِيَّة، هي تعبير شخصي عن تجربتي كفلسطينية. 

تصارع نَفسِي دائماً في كل عملية واقتحام ومواجهة، أشعر بالفرح والعصبية والحزن والخذلان والشفقة والفخر والضعف، لكن نبضات قلبي جارية. 

 نبض القلب في المقطوعة، يبطئ ويسرع، ويتوقف لحظياً. حتى بعد هزيمته، يعود أقوى مما كان، لِيَنتَظِم مع نَفَسِي من جديد. 

أنصح بالاصغاء لهذه المقطوعة في حالة من التأمل باستخدام سماعات الرأس.  



“Etlalla3o” (look) is a sensory audio experience, it is a personal expression of my experience as a Palestinian. 

With every clash, shooting and invasion, I struggle with conflicting emotions, I feel happy, angry, sad, disappointed, pitty, proud and weak, but my heart beat is ongoing. 

In the track, a heart beat races, it slows down, it stops momentarily. Nevertheless, it redeems itself, syncing with my breath again.

My recommendation is to listen to the track in a meditative state using headphones.
