Looking Forward - Atmospheric Drum N Bass Compilation (vol 1)

Recorded and designed a big mix of some of my favourite lush, deep and atmospheric jungle / drum and bass trax from the late 90s, progressing from jazzy and dreamy to hard and fast 💿 Evolving from its rougher and more rave-focused predecessor ( - https://soundcloud.com/5atu8ion/xtatic-hardcore-mix ) the atmospheric sound is a truly magical and forward-thinking genre that still sounds like the future, even 25-30 years later .

I was also pretty inspired by original record designs from the genre so I designed a cover for it based on them and a bunch of 3D renders made with 90s 3D software to visualise the mix. B side - Feel It - starts off a bit more reserved, building up nice break work and melodics before firing out into pure breaks and bass. As the track moves on it goes full circle to bring back the chilled vibes.
