I'm sarcastic, mean spirited, and self serious please take everything I say with a grain of salt. These songs are often explicit had poorly recorded. but with any hope you'll find some kind of meaning in them

I've been the worst to deal with, I'd manipulate and use
Poured out the care she gave me and filled back up on cheap booze
So I packed up all I'd broken, left my home to make it right
But she kept the blame in mind and the "I'm sorry" out of sight

Now heads or tails, it won't lay flat if both sides took a pounding
Kept her scars up on display and my side facing down
I thought, "perhaps she cares enough to hide what I can't handle"
Like when a bloody scene came on and dad would change the channel

Well I'm not here to beg, no I whipped this up to say,
You have every right to hate me and I'll miss you every day
But if it means you're happy, well I'll gladly take the blame

with apologies and policies we try
to mend what we have made, to keep alive
our deadliest assumptions crystalize
for we built these cityscapes on ice.
 
now i've made my way to solid ground;
and i am but a stranger in this town.
i don't see why i should stick around:
they'll crucify me upside-down.

how selfish is the need to satisfy?

Sparrow flies south for winter And I'd like to follow
The snows are coming The cold winds are rising
The lakes are freezing and the cattle is dying and 
We aren't ready 
The policemen guard the door of the food stores
And politician keep a watchful eye
At least that's what if feels like
We havent eaten in a hundred days
and I cant feel my fingers 
This season makes me feel so alone
And my old friends are dying
Holding onto the past they all crash
One by one by one

Stay warm

Sparrow flies south for winter But the flock gets broken up in the storm
And know what they feeling
Anguish of separation 
fear and pain and helplessness as they watch
Their friends all fall
things fall apart
I watch the world around me burst at the seams
And all I can do is stand and smoke as stare at awe to the scene 
I barrel down the alley in fear of cops that aren't chasing me
I just hoped and prayed that maybe they were 
I could take a few down with me ending my pain while going out in a blazer of glory

Run fast 

Sparrow flies north for springtime 
The snows are melting 
April rains are coming
The police man still stand guard
And the politicians still keep a watchful eye on me
But everythings not as hopeless as they seem
We lost one too many this year
And we don't have too many more to lose
Even if we've made an awful mistake I pray that you all make it to next winter
