Peculiar Blue’s blend of heart warming and thought provoking love ‘n’ life songs has been in-sighting audiences around the UK and Europe now for around 10 years. 

In that time they have established themselves as one of Yorkshire's front running acoustic trios and gained a loyal and ever extending fan base. 

Their music is an avenue to air their own life experiences, and the experiences of friends, family and situations around them. 

The band are always willing to think out of the box when producing music and this is very evident on their forthcoming 3rd album release ‘How You Could Leave’ Now available worldwide

The album is a real eclectic blend of acoustic music, including the use of Paul's extensive acoustic guitar collection, drums, percussion, trumpets, vintage organs, cello and piano with guest performances from some of Yorkshire's finest up and coming musicians.

Peculiar Blue are very active on the live music scene and play scores of gigs each year. They travel far and wide where necessary but mainly play gigs within the Yorkshire region. 

Peculiar Blue play a mix of original material and covers but they certainly don’t play run of mill covers, “We dare to play the songs we like rather than the usual songs every one is sick of hearing”

Biography

Fidelis started his music career when he was 8, starting with a piano, later progressing to a guitar. He played in numerous bands and learned to play various instruments adeptly through the years, until he decided to go solo.

Cerise only discovered her music abilities when Fidelis started teaching her how to play guitar. She was a quick learner, and soon grew to meet a dream of writing her own music. She started going for piano lessons soon after. Both Cerise and Fidelis had an immense passion to change the world for the better. Needless to say, the shared passions of the two drew them together into a powerful music writing duo with the aim to create music to support the change within our world.

Chaya Toré is a Hip Hop artist with lyrical content, clever punchlines, and catchy phrases,  Along with lyrics, he also is a producer with such a unique sound people have no choice but to listen.  

     Alongside the DMV Producer Jr. Ghost, their sampling techniques embody the idea of clashing modern-day sound with old-school's soul and enchantment.  However, the creativity displayed in their many original instrumentals have been mentioned as, "Heavenly" or "Future Hip-Hop Classics" depending of the mood via their usage of pianos, guitars, violins, choirs, and BASS.

Corrina Hewat is Principal Harp Tutor (BA Scottish Music) at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is a harpist, singer, composer & arranger, musical director, recording artist and musical collaborator.  Nominated Instrumentalist of the Year at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards and the recipient of a ‘Women in Music’ Award for composition, her huge range of musical influences has contributed greatly to her individual take on traditional music. Corrina achieved recognition for her work with Bachué, Shine (with fellow harpist Mary Macmaster) and Scots supergroup The Unusual Suspects (nominated Live Act of the Year) who showcased the Year of Scotland at the Lorient Interceltique Festival in Brittany, France. She is a trained judge for the Harp Society of America and has run masterclasses over USA and Europe. Her vocal workshops have seen her teach 150 people at a time with astonishing results! 

She has over 30 recordings under her own name, band names and as a session musician and is in the process of releasing her second Scottish Harp tutor book.
