Besides a limited sound palette and set of controls, nothing was planned for this performance and all music created is done so solely for that moment in time, likely to never be reproduced. The creator is only ever one step ahead of the listener and the music is about as live as it can get. It is raw but pure and an expression of self, moment by moment.

Glimpse (Improvisation 28/11/2020)


This one is a special mix I want to dedicate to a friend of mine who lost her fight against cancer.
Her name is Geneviève aka Jane v8. She was a big music lover and dj.
I remember her as a positive person with a big heart.
We met in de 90’s. It was on a party in Café D’anvers.
We start talking in front of the dj booth where Juan Atkins was playing a set.
Then shared many parties and record store visits.
After a while we lost sight of each other, until about 2 years ago.
We had contact again via social media.
2 days after she passed away, I got a message on messenger from her husband.
He was telling me that on her last days she told him that she wishes that her record collection had a
second life with me. I was getting very emotional when reading that message.
So this set is mixed with only her records from which I have made a selection.
It felt like I was doing a back to back dj set with her.
