All the way from Belfast, Duality Trax's Holly Lester! @hollylester

I reached out to Holly in February 2020, desperately seeking a pre-release copy of Fio Fa’s ‘Rescue Squad’ - the debut release on Holly’s brand new label Duality Trax. Preparing for anything other than weekly radio seems a distant memory, but I still remember the urgency in which I wanted to get my hands on the release. Many of these types of emails understandably result in no reply, but a couple of weeks later not only did I receive a copy of a release but a very cute suggestion that we should do a mix for each other’s respective radio shows. There is definitely something to be said about the global community that electronic music fosters.

Holly is a resident broadcaster on Manchester’s Limbo Radio, is an established and enviable selector and has an undoubtedly exciting future ahead for her newly established label and imminently to-be-released original productions. Having Dj’d since 14, Holly notes in a previous interview that the initial thing that got her really obsessed with dance music was trance, something which I’m sure will shine through in her curation of the label.
