Long time friend and longtime party-goer Darcy Justice, has made waves and shaken more than a few booties since her swift transition from dancefloor to in demand DJ some years ago. As a Butter Sessions staple, ex Lucid at Lounge (RIP) resident and host of beautifully curated Hope St Radio show ‘Moody’ it’s no wonder why she was invited for a return trip to the Inner Varnika stage. Although she shines when the tempo is low and the energy is high, Darcy moves effortlessly between genres - from rnb to rave, slow-mo-techno to soul. It’s the latter that brings it all together, her one of a kind presence bringing calm and control to all within her path. Bringing tranquility to the both, Darcy Justice has the opposite effect on any dancefloor. It’s my pleasure to have finally invited Darcy to PBS for a double header line up, sharing the airwaves with IV Drip to celebrate IWD and 2 years of Passing Notes.

Big Yawn are a four-piece group that present familiar electronic sounds amplified as a live band. Live performance is their natural habitat. Hypnotic drums collide with synths, samples, dub FX and heavy bass to create a unique energy. The group have been apart of Australia's *underground* scene for quite a few years - appearing in groups like Exotic Snake and Yolke, as well as being affiliated with the Fallopian Tunes label.

Their debut LP 'No!' dropped earlier in 2020 through https://soundcloud.com/researchrecords to mark a new chapter in their journey. A more refined and deeper look into the bands live presence and studio processes. Next week their follow up mini album 'S.P.G' drops on cassette - some of their finest work to date.
