Playing as a DJ is already for over 8 Years and was very successful in the scene as there are feedbacks like from 1daytrack.com 'incredible talent from Hamburg that got our attention with his mixtape series - his musical choices, smooth transitions and storytelling abilities' @1daytrack or from ROOM84 'his track choices are perfect' @room84ch. He got also signed on several famous labels in Germany and later became one of the first signed artists on Kośa Records @kosamusica where he is finally with his new project as well.

Marcelo kommt aus Brasilien und lebte einige Zeit in Lissabon … einer meiner Lieblingsstädte in Europa, wohnt aber seit geraumer Zeit in Deutschland. Auch wenn er jetzt sesshaft geworden ist … bleibt er doch ein Reisender. Vor allem mit der Gedankenklang-Family ist er die letzten Jahre auf diversen Festivals und Clubs anzutreffen gewesen wie z. B. Meeresrauschen, Wilde Möhre, Sisyphos, Klunkerkranich, Love Fundation um nur einige Stationen zu nennen.

Marcelos DJ-Performance zu beschreiben ist nicht einfach … deswegen lassen wir ihn selbst sprechen.

Duboko Deep is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His mother and father collector’s of chanson francaise,jazz music,canzoni italiane,Sinatra,Dean Martin, soundtrack’s etc. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners. Amsterdam native Patrice Baumel has had a stellar 2017 already. His Afterlife debut 'Glutes' was a favorite played across dark dance floors all year and his follow-up saw him team up with Miami powerhouse Danny Daze. Now, he's back at it with a remix of singer and producer Monolink's single off his upcoming album, 'Sirens'.

Baumel allows Monolink's slinky vocals to shine across a tantalizing, yet dissonant techno soundscape that fits perfectly into his growing, slow-burning repertoire. This year I was fortunate enough to close out the Hanging Gardens stage at Babylon Festival. The legend that is YokoO played before me and set the mood nicely with some very nice day time grooves. The sun was shining and the Funktion One sound system was perfect.

Cultures Club

Yes playing at Sisyphos is always magical, but this time was just on top of everything else! During the Set we both couldn't believe what was going on.. There was this intense connection between us and all the lovely dancers and we had this unique flow of creativity while we were playing. Thomas, thank you my Friend and Role Model for this 3 1/2 hours of pure joy and inspiration. 7 Years ago I danced the first time to a set played by you in Munich, now I have had the chance to close our best Set together with your timeless classic Pleasure Seeker <3 
Also a big thank u to all the Dancers for the Energy & the Love , We know a lot of you took off on Monday just to be there, GRACIAS <3
