Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Hoedus. He is a dj and producer, born and raised in the eternal city - Rome. In the beginning he was known as OWL in the electronic music scene and recently he changed his name in Hoedus, releasing his music on the dutch lable Telemorph and on his own label Anekoic Records. His music reflects the anatomy of a lake; above there is the poetic and sentimental part of the music and below there are muddy analogue layers to a science fiction and dystopian vision of the future that merge to make up a sound image full of harmony and deepness. His figure seems to be an amphibian moving in a habitat formed between analog and digital, with which he establishes a language united by the same code. The musical discourse with the public is a multimedia text consisting of modulated patterns inspired by nature and the city, Rome, which lead Hoedus to produce experimental and hypnotic sounds, consisting of ethereal and meditative phases of the Ambient / drone and the strong tones from Techno.

Welcome to the WE ARE ONE Podcast Episode 149 with Sai from Berlin,Germany!

Mixing Dub, Dubtechno, Heavywheight, electronic bassmusic in a certain kind of emotional expressing way...I have experienced a lot of different electronic types and styles during my musical biography witch began in the 8oies as a teen with Postpunk and dark wave and develloped further with Ska, Reggae, Jungle, Drum 'n Bass and Techno. Reggae and the Jamaician Soundsystem Culture had also a big influence to me, especially the ruff and heavy basslines of dub and raggamuffin....
In the last two years Dubtechno became a very special role to me cause of it's introvert meditative attitude which fits very good to me now in the present time.

So music is much more than entertainment to me and shaped my personality by getting much energy from it.
And this is something, what I want to bring over in my diverse and gengre overarching mixes.
After many years, I started mixing music again during the covid pandemic time...

Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you.
