Dieses Hämmern scheint nicht mehr aufhören zu wollen. Ein dumpfer Rhythmus der sich durch die Synapsen meines Hirns stampft. Es scheint fast so als würde sich die Kick-drum aus den Boxen in mein Bewusstsein gefressen haben. Mit den einzelnen Schlägen blitzen Erinnerungsfetzen wie Bilder unter einem Stroboskoplicht auf. Zuckende Körperteile, Gesichter voller Emotionen, hohe Boxentürme und bunte Lichter bahnen sich unkontrolliert ihren Weg in meinen Verstand. Die Nacht scheint sich selbst zu reflektieren und ich kann mich nicht dagegen wehren. Zum pochenden Kopfschmerz mischt sich bald ein großes Verlangen nach Wasser. Dieser Durst, es scheint als würde die Kalahari in meine Kehle umgezogen sein. Ich versuche die Augen aufzuschlagen und kann sie nicht lang offen halten. Es dauert eine Weile bis sich das verschwommene Zwinkern in einen klaren Blick verwandelt. Arme und Beine wollen jedoch gar nicht meinem Willen gehorchen. Wie gelähmt liege ich im Bett und starre an die Decke. Dann beginne ich zu grinsen und denke mir, dass ich mal wieder alles gegeben habe. Es wird bestimmt bald Zeit für eine paar neue Tanzsneaker. 
Der alte Teufelskerl hat es mal wieder geschafft. Es haben wieder alle nach seiner Pfeife getanzt, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Der Raverend ist wahrlich einer der größten Entertainer aller Zeiten. Er hat das Publikum wie von Zauberhand geleitet und mit einem magischen Band verbunden, sodass aus den Individuen ein gleichsam eskalierendes Kollektiv geworden ist. Der Geist dieses schwitzenden und glücklichen Wesens hat jeden einzelnen immer weiter angetrieben. Dieser Dj versteht es einfach auch noch die letzten Energiereserven aus den müden Körpern zu kitzeln. So liege ich also völlig erschöpft aber von Glücksgefühlen durchströmt da, während mein Geist schon wieder beginnt nach mehr zu verlangen. Er benötigt die Leidenschaft, die Emotionen und die Geschichten, die sich hinter den elektronischen Klängen verbergen. Zum Glück gibt es mittlerweile Smartphones mit Sprachsteuerung… „Hey Handy, spiel die aktuelle deep story!“ „Ich spiele deep story nr. 111 the awakening by Fat Sushi“ 

Die beiden Jungs haben spätestens mit ihren Release auf Suara bewiesen, dass sie großartige Tracks zaubern können. Ihre Produktionen sind abwechslungsreich und absolut tanzbar. Wenn bei diesen Grooves die müden Glieder nicht wieder anfangen zu wippen, hilft auch kein Aspirin mehr...

Mathias Schaffhäuser, auch damals als Math U Matix bekannt, ist ein Sänger, DJ, Labelinhaber, Journalist und Produzent im Bereich der elektronischen Tanzmusik.
Seit seinem Debut 1994 auf Definitive Records (90er House Sub-Label von Plus-8) mischt Mathias Schaffhäuser im Techno- und House-Zirkus mit, veröffentlichte in den 90ern und Nuller-Jahren auf Force Inc., Kompakt, Multicolor und Blaou Sounds und arbeitete zuletzt vor allem mit Mo's Ferry Productions, Biotop und Snork Entertainment. 2018 kamen außerdem EPs auf Tiefschwarz' Souvenir Music und dem legendären britischen Label Third Ear heraus.
Ende 1997 gründete Mathias sein Label Ware, das mittlerweile bei Katalognummer 98 (Stand Ende 2018) angekommen ist. 2018 feierte das Label zudem sein 20jähriges Jubiläum.
2001 landete er mit „Hey Little Girl“ einen veritablen Clubhit, 2002 enterte "Musik ohne Bass" die Clubs (Force Inc.). Im April 2005 erschien sein sechstes Album „Coincidance“ (Ware CD 14/Ware 52), dessen Titeltrack von Trentemöller und Dapayk (Mo’s Ferry Productions, Dapayk & Padberg) remixed wurde (Ware 54).

Welcome to the 231th Chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. A weekly released podcast that brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This weeks set, called Reality is an Illussion, is created by The Unknown Psychologist.

Bio:
Fan of electronic music since the 90s (even a little before ... from the end 80, I already listened to bands like "Cabaret Voltaire", "Front 242", "Front line assembly"), I started with the creation towards the 95's (first on AMIGA with Soundtracker, then on PC with Reason). Then I went to mix, first on Vinyl and then for over 10 years in digital.
Originally oriented HardTechno, I went through just about every style. Now, I navigate between a techno rather deep, hypnotic, sometimes Detroit techno, sometimes a little dubby and a little dark ...
I give a lot of importance to the technical dimension of the mix (I mix very often on 3 or 4 decks) and the harmony between the different tracks.
For the rest, I'm 45 ..... I live in Lyon and i'm really psychologist! (social psychologist to be precise)
