I just lost my friend and my grandpa in the span of a few months

I sobered up and got my life back on the road again

but again, addiction came up but it wasn’t me goin through it
I didn’t even know, there were things I had to discover

That’s when the lies started comin, then I couldn’t take it

Then you told me about how this guy hit you and raped you
Thoughts flying in my head like why would I hate you?
You kept it a secret but, I wanted to save you
I tried to hold on tight but the drugs came to take you

I chain smoke now just to ease the pain
