A little while back my name ended up in a hat for a project of collaborations - the lucky-dip chose Man Meets Bear, and yesterday was the first clear day for recording. 
So it was into The Little Studio - flicking on the red lights & scanning the news feed... David Bowie had died. 

All day I just kept recording. This was the result.

Placement make a form of locational music they call ''Landscape Music".&#13;
&#13;
The pair typically combine found sounds, field recordings and an array of instruments both electronic and otherwise, with tape effects, prepared systems and improvised playing. Their albums are largely themed geographically to evoke a particular area or feature and the tracks themselves can vary from large scale impressionistic pieces to more focused and intimate studies.&#13;
