From the recordings that produced Drums Between the Bells - the collaboration between Brian Eno and British poet Rick Holland – comes an all new EP titled Panic Of Looking.

The 6 tracks continue the exploration of how lyric & song- writing are perceived in the post-everything era.  As the Sunday Times suggests, "The poems aren't sung, yet the pieces are undeniably songlike, first because the music refuses to act simply as background, but lurches frequently, sometimes unexpected to the fore, and second because we hear the meaning of the words in the way we normally pick up song lyrics," while WIRED Magazine calls Eno’s soundscapes, "a tapestry of pillowy synths, minor-key melodies, chiming guitars and skittering drums."

All of these elements come together for the November 7th/8th release of the EP, which was produced by Eno and features his original artwork on vinyl, CD & digital formats.

'Sonum Vocis Magnum Parvo

This score comprises of both an amplified through composed piece of music and accompanying acoustic bells to be performed as a promenade. Shifting, phasing, moving like a sonic cloud.  Bells are traditionally used to call communities together, to mark the passing of time, to raise the alarm, we wanted to use these modest handbells, intrinsically a small sound, but when multiplied, the gathering of a small sound makes a big sound. Compassionate, compelling - we will be heard!  Sonum Vocis Magnum is a play on words the literal translation to Latin of Small Sound, Big Sound, but therein lies the voice - voices of the people, culture declares…  'Mira Calix

VOICES FOR THE FUTURE is an audio-visual collaboration between artist Joseph Michael, composer Rhian Sheehan, and Project Pressure. For three nights on the eve of the 2019 Climate Action Summit, the UN Headquarters Building in New York was illuminated with large scale projections of a melting iceberg, and soundscapes including the voices from six young advocates, including Greta Thunberg, delivering messages about the nature of the crisis, and the actions that can and must be taken. The installation featured an original soundscape by Rhian Sheehan, and music by Brian Eno.

Plaid (pronounced \ˈplad\) are the London based electronic music duo Andy Turner & Ed Handley. They are two of the founding members of The Black Dog, releasing their first EP in 1989 and signing to Warp Records in 1991. They have used many other pseudonyms including; Atypic, Repeats and Balil, but have focusing on Plaid since 1995. They have released 11 studio albums as Plaid, from 1991's 'Mbuki Mvuki', to 2022's 'Feorm Falorx'. 

Various sources claim they took their name “Plaid” from the Welsh word for “Party”.
