Founded in 2006, the independent non-genre electronic music producer abbreviated as uo_ailewa released the short work 《Disaster》

Morgan (he/him, USA/DE) is a practice-based music researcher whose output sits in the experimental field between academia and club music.

His work spans live electronic music, curation, lecture-workshops, panel discussions and the development of sample packs, tuning systems and other musical strategies to engage with materiality, diaspora, and the thoughtful resynthesis of new/traditional music.

Morgan's music productions draw from an archipelagic range of influences and intrinsic reverence for experimental computer dance music that can be described as playful, abrasive, promiscuous, feral and eclectic.

Last year, he released his debut album on Chinabot, which The Wire called "…a gently vaporous hulk of melancholia."

Morgan has performed at Cafe Oto, presented at CTM Festival, co-curated Soydivision's long-running Soy&Synth series, organized an online album co-release festival with folk-doom metal band Senyawa and 44 labels (mentioned in NYT, CDM), and was interviewed by Ableton about Latent Sonorities, a project that expands public access to sonic heritage for transcultural experimentation and research.

I have been fascinated by music from the very beginning of my life. 
Progressive music was a true discovery, listening through analog tapes and sometime vinyls. I started to play keyboards at the age of six, and tweaking with modular synths occasionally. 
Then one friend of mine asked me if I wanted to play keyboards in a new wave band, here we go! At that time Japan and David Sylvian were my preferred artists. I was experimenting with synths like D50 and DX7 creating soundscapes surrounding the song structure. 
BTW my father was a trumpet player - as many others in my family - anyway I was not considering this instrument until when I had the chance to listen to Bitches Brew of Miles Davis. It was an incredible experience! His trumpet liquid sound was absolutely incredible. I decided to study trumpet and jazz harmony. I went through cool jazz, acid jazz, ambient, world and electronic music melting everything together. And here we are…

Plaid (pronounced \ˈplad\) are the London based electronic music duo Andy Turner & Ed Handley. They are two of the founding members of The Black Dog, releasing their first EP in 1989 and signing to Warp Records in 1991. They have used many other pseudonyms including; Atypic, Repeats and Balil, but have focusing on Plaid since 1995. They have released 11 studio albums as Plaid, from 1991's 'Mbuki Mvuki', to 2022's 'Feorm Falorx'. 

Various sources claim they took their name “Plaid” from the Welsh word for “Party”.
