Billie Ray Martin (of Electribe 101 and “Your Loving Arms” fame) provided the star attraction on DJ Hell's long awaited new album "NY Muscle" (International DJ Gigolo Records), released 2003.  Ms. Martin's million dollar voice leads one of the album's key songs, the Billie Ray penned "Je Regrette Everything".

 One leading UK magazine described the song in an advance preview: “The teutonic high priestess of ice cool soul channels Edith Piaf by way of Diamanda Galas on this hand-wringing dramafest. Epic.”

This electro-noir meets Shirley Bassey extravaganza-sound saw Billie thrill the audience at two huge mega DJ HELL release events last week in Paris and Berlin.  Press and TV attention was immense and Ms. Martin’s performance was singled out as “the one real live element to the shows”, receiving amazing responses from the large crowd.  London, New York and Tokyo saw this audio-visual spectacular in early 2004.

It's not a typical direction for me as it's more of a 'happy song' but I constantly encourage ppl to take their production out of their comfort zone so I must practice what I preach. Plaid (pronounced \ˈplad\) are the London based electronic music duo Andy Turner & Ed Handley. They are two of the founding members of The Black Dog, releasing their first EP in 1989 and signing to Warp Records in 1991. They have used many other pseudonyms including; Atypic, Repeats and Balil, but have focusing on Plaid since 1995. They have released 11 studio albums as Plaid, from 1991's 'Mbuki Mvuki', to 2022's 'Feorm Falorx'. 

Various sources claim they took their name “Plaid” from the Welsh word for “Party”.
